He looked at the two fallen trees his mother and father he hugged the first placing a kiss on the forehead the second he hugged gently "I will Avenge you both," he said he began to play a song on hs flut remembering what aslan had taught him smiling slightly whilst he played a sad and lonely song the kings and queens didn't understand, the other dryads treated him like dirt for letting just one of his kind die but most of all he couldn't even trust himself he knew nothing of his past of his father and mother only these two dryads knew that and now they were both dead

Arnel paused his song to listen. The sound of hoofbeats were coming, and in a moment, a female centuar came into view. Her coat shone gold in the sun, and her tail and hair were a glossy black. She carried a bow, and a quiver of arrows across her back, and in her belt was a long knife. She stopped at the sight of the dryad, and then spoke.
"What is thy name, friend? And whither art thou headed?"

"My name is Arnel and I am regarding my parents deaths," he said and sat down he smiled at the centaur she was beautiful and he had only ever said that to one other person his mother whom was now dead he smiled at her blissfully as he thought about his mother he sighed slightly then looked at her "But my friends names are unimportant at the time were are you going,"

The centaur tossed her hair back from her face with a smile, and waved her hand airily.
"Hither, thither, and yon. Bye the bye, my name is Shylah, and I come from the western woods. Do you wish for a companion in your travels, if you are traveling?"

A holly dryad, her reddish blond hair shining in the afternoon sun, stepped out from the trees, then stopped at the sight of a centaur and a dryad talking.
"Shylah!" she cried, running forward to embrace the centaur. Adriel [the dryad] smiled. She had not seen Shylah for a long while.
